Cranes Mill RV Park is a beautiful oasis, but the ultimate way to expand your waterfront fun is by visiting the spectacular Cranes Mill Day Use Park situated immediately adjacent to our property.

It is fully equipped for complete recreation with sand volleyball court, wooden swings looking over the water, dedicated lake-side swimming, and a fishing dock.

The park is entirely enveloped by Texas Hill Country’s magnificent native flora and roaming wildlife. Take a quiet morning walk to see white-tailed deer grazing in the shade, blooming prickly pear cacti, and sweeping vistas that make this one of the most picturesque natural locations in Comal County.

Shore Swimming

Shore Swimming: Enjoy access to the lake for swimming at the nearby Day Use Park, where guests can cool off and take in the beauty of the water.
Day Use Park fees may apply in future.

Fishing Dock

Cast your lines from our fishing dock. The deep coves around the peninsula are known for bass, catfish, and crappie.

Sand Volleyball & Swings

Gather your friends for a match on the lakefront sand volleyball court, or unwind on the swings beneath massive live oak trees.

Picnic Pavilions

First-come, first-served shaded shelters complete with professional charcoal grills overlooking the lake.

Access The Day Use Park

While our core RV Park is incredibly beautiful and offers a quiet footpath down to Canyon Lake’s waters, the full recreation highlights are centered next door. It is highly recommended to walk, drive, over to the dedicated Day Use Park right next door to the RV park. There you will access to lake swimming and fishing, custom picnic spots, and full outdoor activity zones! Currently it is complimentary to utilize the Day Use Park as a guest of Cranes Mill RV Park but future changes may result in applicable fees.
